To be able to digitally sign a document in Adobe Reader you must have your digital certificate correctly installed on your computer. If you have not yet installed it, we advise you to first consult the Digital Certificate Installation section.
- Follow these steps to signing with Adobe Reader DC
- If your certificate is remote, see the section on How to Sign with a Remote Certificate
Signing with Adobe Reader DC
- Open the document
- Click on [All Tools] and then [View More]
- Then click on [Use a Certificate]
- Next in [Digitally Sign]
- Then select the area where you want your signature to appear
- Then choose your certificate and press [Continue]

To edit the fields displayed in the signature, click [Edit] to customize the signature's appearance.
- In Include Text select the fields you want to display in the signature.
- Next click [Sign]
- Then signature will be added to the document
