The suspension of a Certificate is a reversible action. A Certificate should be suspended, for example, when you think you may have lost it but are not certain.
Suspension is an immediate process that temporarily disables the Certificate for a maximum period of three business days. It is important to note that, legally, all electronic transactions carried out during this suspension period have no legal value.
This suspension period allows the Certificate holder to request, in due time, the revocation of the Certificate by proving it's authenticity.
If a revocation request is not submitted to Multicert by the end of the three-business-day suspension period, the Certificate will automatically return to it's Ative state.
